Isshin-ryu Karate
This class is for adults who are searching for a way to improve their physical conditioning while sharpening their mind. Beginning with basic blocking, punching, kicking, striking, and self-defense techniques, students will learn the fundamentals needed to reach the rank of Black Belt. Included in the curriculum are traditional weapons and forms training. Through this training you will discover more about yourself and your capabilities and develop self-confidence, self-awareness and an acute sense of pride.
This class is geared toward the education of young students who are interested in learning Isshin-ryu Karate. They will learn all the basic techniques and forms to achieve their individual ranks in the color belts while working toward their main objective of becoming a Black Belt. Along the way, they will learn respect, self-discipline, and build self-esteem. They will develop their minds through rigorous training while developing coordination and physical fitness.
This class caters to the specific developmental stages of young children, while challenging their minds and bodies. They will learn basic karate techniques such as blocking, punching and kicking, along with shortened versions of our katas (forms). We also focus on skills such as balance, coordination, and following direction while teaching respect, responsibility and self control in a fun and safe environment.
Traditional Okinawan Weapons Training. Learn weapons including the Bo, Tonfa, Sai, Nunchaku, Eiku and more! This class is for those who wish to learn weaponry in a traditional form. No martial arts experience in necessary, and all disciplines are welcome!
This class was developed to help women and men reach their individual fitness goals. Using a base of actual kickboxing techniques, a large variety of fitness activities, and incorporating self defense techniques, you will get unique aerobic workout that will keep you motivated! This class is taught in a high energy, fast paced environment, and is suitable for all fitness levels.
